Below are behind-the-scenes shots by Britt Dvorak of the California location shoot for Starship Farragut’s “Price of Anything” episode, which will be released next year. The location couldn’t have been more stunning. The low sun and dusty environment made for some spectacular atmosphere. The cast and crew worked tirelessly from sun up to sun down and we managed to shoot thirteen pages in two days. The Sony F3 proved once again how good it is at working in daylight. Even though in harsh sunlight the shadows on the monitor looked black, I trusted my meter and waveform monitor. When we got back to home base and reviewed the footage we got excellent detail throughout a 10-stop spread.
